Minister of International Trade Chrystia Freeland and MaryAnn Mihychuk met with Labour leaders Wednesday December 9th.Many concerns were raised,such as how TPP will lower labour standards rather than raising them, the grave impact on Canadian auto sector, the increase in pharmaceutical costs, incoming foreign workers, and  TPP’s potential impact to commitments on climate change. So far the Liberal government has carefully refrained from voicing any opinion about the TPP.
